888 hosting have the right to refuse a domain and or hosting order if we believe it as being inappropriate or fraudulent. We have the right to refuse any order without explanation, if not deemed as fraud monies will be refunded with the deduction of the amount of time already spent on the systems.
Fees
All domain names purchases are non refundable. If for any reason you wish to leave our hosting services please give us 14 days notice in writing. 888 hosting packages are paid for yearly and monthly. We will expect payments to be on time and will endeavour to send reminder notices via email for any late payments but if for any reason you do not receive such notices or payment has not been received by fourteen (14) days of your invoice due date, suspension of the site will commence, this will also include suspension of domain extension emails therefore another contact email should be used to contact us. You also will run the risk of having the actual domain name terminated, which is something which may become irretrievable as time progresses. If after 2 months your invoice has not been paid please assume that your data has been deleted from our servers.
Our server and hosting deals are subject to a fair use policy therefore we have the right to minimise bandwidth for the overall customer satisfaction if we feel that there is any abuse by any of our clients, if it is persistent abuse we have the right to terminate the offending account.
Rollback
We have a rollback system in place which protects your data to some extent but we are in no way liable for any data loss. We advise all clients to back up their data with the tools provided in the Cpanel but also to back up your files locally via ftp access. Simple periodic back ups is always best practice.
Security
Your Cpanel access password should be secured with a strong password which should be changed periodically, failure to do so can result in hacking of your site, if for any reason your site is hacked please notify us immediately. It is your responsibility to keep your site password secure. Accessing your Cpanel via public computers should be done with care to prevent easy access to your website's backend and your emails.
Inappropriate use
You are prohibited to use our servers for file storage, image hosting/ storage, porn sites, gambling sites anything which is generally illegal, racial hatred or immoralities, if found your site will be taken down and reported to the appropriate authorities.
